Radio FRO 105.0 MHz invites the european free speech scene to the ars electronica 2000. FREE SPEECH CAMP is a forum for mediaprojects, the independent social scene, workinggroups and discussions. Following themes stand in the centre of interest: resistance against neoliberalism, european mediapolicy, independent media, open access - open source, public campaining, media and war, free media campaigns.... FREE SPEECH CAMP shows the current situation of independent groups in Europe. But theire demands and aims for the future are also part of the program: independent medias and the right to communicate must be defended every day! FREE SPEECH CAMP will be set up between 3-7 September 2000 in the ARS-quarter (Ars Electronica Centre, Stadtwerkstatt and the Danube river, Kirchengasse 4, A-4040 Linz/Austria). In tents, containers and huts, with open-air-exhibitions, art-projects and a rest- area with a show-kitchen the visitors presentate themselves as well as they meet each others and build up new cooperations.
